Well I just picked up my first RX7, a 89 convertible and had some questions. First off I am a mustang guy and always will be, I bought this car because I got a good deal on it from a guy at work, I wanted something with decent gas mileage and I miss having a convertible. Now the car has about 160k miles on it and its in pretty good shapes except on the back of the side skirts near the rear wheels. Now my first question, Id like to sand down the rust (its eaten all the way through on the pass side) hit it with some rust stop paint and put a whole new side skirt over it. What skirt would you reccommend that would look close to factory and not look out of place?

Unfortunately your options are somewhat limited. I would go for skirts on both sides of the car. Best thing to do would be to check out the visual mods section of the 2nd gen forum and start looking for skirts. Shine Auto may have something stockish, I don't remember though.
