hey guys i just bought an 88 turbo ll, ive always had fbs and this is the first fc. the car is arctic silver, its got 68k on it. interior is very very clean it looks brand new. the outside isnt terrible but its been sittin since2002. body wise is ok but its gonna be a fun project. it will crank and crank but never start... i have a feeling its not getting fuel... it def has fuel but maybe the fuel pump could be out? not really sure. let me know anything i should do to get it started.. ive never bought a 7 that sat this long. i know about rotarys but ive always messed with carbd motors. any input is greatly appreciated

 

Find a fellow rotorhead to go look at it with you if you doubt your ability to diagnose the problem. It sounds like the fuel pump but you never know. Depending on the price, 68k on a TII, I'd ****** it up.

You can check for voltage at the pump by testing across the blue and black wires at the connector.

 

ok the fuel pump is done. for sure. and the tank is really crappy lookin inside i need to clean it out right away
