I believe the front coil (near the front of the engine bay) is the leading coils. These 2 spark plug wires should go to both top spark plugs. The rear coil is the trailing coil. These 2 wires should go to the bottom plugs.

Next to each sparkplug hole is embossed a letter. Either T or L.
The front rotor is number 1. The rear rotor is number 2.
The coil assy near the battery is the LEAD coil assy.
The coil assy near the brake master cylinder are the Trail coils.
Each coil assy has a plastic cover on it with either L1, L2, T1, T2 next to each sparkplug wire.
The top sparkplug holes, with the T embossed near them are the TRAIL sparkplugs.
The lower sparkplug holes with a L embossed near them are the LEAD sparkplugs.
Some people just remember that T is for tops and L is for lower.
You can mix the bottom wires up and it won't make a difference BUT NEVER cross the upper sparkplug wires up.
I've done my good deed for the day. Now its off to bashing on some thread.
