Got it for FREE because it isnt running. I got underneath the car and saw the starter ground hanging, a few other wires from the tranny hanging, the starter not bolted in (just kinda sitting in there) and the shift linkage only had one screw holding it in. THAT might have something to do with it. I'll post pics when my camera's done recharging. Oh and there was a ring on the shift linkage, underneath the rubber plate, that was snapped in half, and when i was on the way home, it kept trying to start in 'neutral'. so i think the linkage is screwed. Also the clutch pedal goes right to the floor, does that sound like messed up clutch hydraulics to you?

 

if they didnt bother installing the starter, im sure the clutch line is completely disconnected or something too, but its definitely hydraulic.

 

Who can argue with a free FC regardless of it's condition?

Bleed the clutch, check and replace anything wrong with the linkage.

Or the tranny could be shot ;o!

Its hard to tell unless you're actually working on it in person.
