Finally did TID mod
my father found an aluminum (i guess) intake pipe w/kone attached on the highway! lucky me he gave it to meas he couldnt use it on his 93TT. it was roughly about a foot and 1/2 long with one 45 degree bend with a diameter just under 3 inches. i cut it near the bend went to home depot and got the 3 to 2 in. connecter and the 3 to 3 connector (by the way i knew that thanks to the guys on this forum)and vwalla i got my TID mod out the way....cost me 10 bucks, hehe!
i get 12psi easily now......got rid of the air pump too! next up is the double pulley for the alternator. if you havent done the TID mod yet....i really recommend it! i know the intake pipes are pretty expensive like 75 bucks or so. maybe you can take a look thru the junkyard you might find one still in a car if your lucky. or maybe you can beat up a ricer dude and take it from him
omg did i just say that!

$14.99 for a 45 degree mandrel bent 3" ID aluminized pipe.
I bought a 90 degree bend to give ma a bit of flexibility on the bedn incase I wanted more or less... cost me $18.99
this bitch of it is, with tax, duty, brokerage, shipping, and canadian conversion, it cost me $55 to get to my door. still cheaper than buying a kit and getting the same thing.
