The Final Broken Front Diff mount fix

Okay, so after the 5th time of dropping my diff, and having a pinnion snubber my dront diff mount seems to always break, might be the way i drive my car but i have decided to look into it more and seen the V8 FC guys run into this issue more often then the guys on this forum so i decied to add a braket to my front diff mount. I also seen that even with a preloaded Pinion Snubber the diff still had movement and upwards travel, so i added small Qtr inch plate to preload the snubber even after several washers. Long story short here is what i decided to butcher up, and please excuse my awesome slag!!!!

here is the Braket that is goint to actually hold the diff mount in place...

and the plate for the pinnion snubber....

and everything mouted back up....

and that boxed in welded diff mount, i decided to go with a mazdatrix competition mount instead of the stock welded box one that u see there. i didnt see a problem with the solid one, but the studs on the actuall diff mount got stipped when i dropped the diff and decided to not worry about retaping them. By the time i found used diffmount on the classifieds it would take about a week for me to get it in my possesion...

Here's what the japanese do. KSP Attain piece. It bolts in place of the exhaust hangers, then to the stock diff mount where the old mount damper was.

ive done something similar before,, using the bushed ends from old rx2 trailing arms to allow a little bit of movement , yet also allow some adjust of the pinion angle when desired

note that this will only fit on a car with a single system exhaust

FACK! i think it would have been easier to just buy that piece, hmmm i think this piece would sell like hotcakes, but at the end of the day all i had to buy was the competition mount, i had everything else. i cant believe thats the first time ive seen that piece.

I haven't torn one yet, I just have delrin rear mounts, and a preloaded snubber. The mounts are a tad noisy, but so is everything else on the car.
