A few seemingly unrelated questions...
88 TII
First question...
What is the pipe that comes off the turbo and into the rubber IC elbow made out of? It looks like cast aluminum to me, but I'm not sure.
Second question...
I was adjusting the TPS and all of a sudden my test lamps stopped working, nothing is wrong with the car, and it isnt' a terribly huge deal, but adjusting the TPS using the "turn 1/8 turn and start it" method is annoying and I'm too lazy to use a multimeter.
Third question...
What would cause my low fuel light to stay on all the time? I was driving, actually on my way to get gas, and my fuel light came on because I was too low, now this happens all the time, and I fill up and it turns back off, but this time it stayed on. Any ideas?
Thanks a ton guys.

Lets see....
Take a magnet and try to stick it to that pipe by the IC elbow. If it doesnt stick, its probably aluminum.
Fuel light, sounds like your float is hung up. Go run over some speed bumps... FAST!...
TPS? I use the light method. Dont know why your lights went out.

Yeah...
You know I thought about the float being stuck, but the thing is that my gauge works perfectly...
So it says I have a full tank, but for some reason the low fuel light is stuck on. If the float was stuck then it would say it was empty right?

Use the multi meter for the tps you can get it pretty accurate while the car is running and measuring the volts it should be .995 on the meter then when you hit the gas it should raise up to 5k while your rpms are at 4-5k

GAH!
It's been 2 days and that stupid fuel light is still on.
Nobody has any idea why the light won't go off?
Is there another sensor somewhere that is tripped?
Sweet lord help!
