Question a few quick questions about afm and tps and fuel injector

91 s5 na streetport freshly rebuilt with apexi fuel controller

well i drove may car around the otherday to go pass smog and it starts acting up right when i get there...so i can't pass because my car is running too lean...so i say ok and take it back to my house. next time i start it up it won't idle at all. I check engine codes and it says that my secondary rear injector has a problem and my afm does too. but for some time i suspected my tps was bad too...

1. so i wanted to know this, does it matter which injector connector goes to the front or rear secondary injector (one broke so i had to find a replacement connector so they might be switched as i forgot which one goes where long ago)

2. i also wanted to know another thing, i retested my tps using the resistance method and narrow range closed throttle was in spec, but full throttle was infinite or whatever its called, and my full range was infinite (or whatever) both closed and full ... but this was done with my car cold as i can't start my car right now because it will just die and buck when i try to get it to idle (this just happens out of nowhere the past 3 weeks it worked perfectly) is this tps bad or is it a MUST that my car be fully warmed up and idling in order to test it? and if i get another tps can i test it by itself to see if there's any problems with it?

3. lastly, i tested my afm according to the FSM and all my resistances were WAY off i had very little resistance (less than 10 if i remember right) for all the little tabs. and my resistance didn't change at all when i moved the air meter thing. Would this be why my car just won't start at all?

oh btw, i disconnected my fuel controller connector and im guessing its hooked to the ecu...so if i disconnect it will my car run right or does it have to be plugged in to function correctly? does anyone know any info about this kind of system (i bought the car this way)

lol fml i love this car but is a huge pain in the rear end :/

1. it does, its been a while but i don't think it'll reach if its not right

2. if the full range TPS is infinite all the time its bad. are you sure you're checking the right wires? if it was open, it should have a check engine light on for the full range tps

3. again, the picture is from the wire side of the connector, you sure you did it right?

4. the afc goes in between the afm and the ecu, so if you just unplug it the afm isn't connected to the ecu either. set it to zero correction

The secondary injectors fire/operate at the very same time........so it would matter not if their two plugs were crossed.

But that's not a likely thing to happen 'cause the front primary and secondary are on one branch of the EM harness and the rear primary and secondary are on a seperate branch of the EM harness. Seems one would notice if he crossed 'em up.

Besides that the FSM wiring diagrams show the colors of each injector plugs wires, so you'd think one would not cross the plugs up.

yes i did, i even measured the opposite direction just in case i was doing it backwards
