A few questions now that i have pulled my injectors..
First off, are the upper and lower injectors exactly the same and it doesnt matter if i mix them up by accident?
the gasket between the top intake manifold and bottom part of it is still perfectly intact and stuck on the bottom peice.. will it still seal perfectly if i just keep it there and not bother with a new gasket? I know you should always replace gaskets but eh.. one less trip to the mazda dealer...
aswell, where the oring is on the bottom part of the lower injectors had alot of gunk on it.. is that just build up from dirty gas over the years? or could that have been a problem with something.. im not sure what but something..
lastly, what kind of shops will clean and test injectors.. I see that alot of people send them to these shops, but I would like to take it to a shop localy because of shipping costs into the US is alittle more expencive, and it takes more time than i want to give up..

yes, the prim and sec injectors are the same.
better to get new gaskets while you're at it. i wouldnt want to take the UIM and LIM when i have them together again
sorry, cant help if you're in Canada, i'm in US

is this N/A or TII, I took the UIM and LIM off my 89 GTU without replacing the gaskets, but I also use a copper gasket sealer, FYI I didn't replace anything and put it together and every thing worked fine, there are places you can send your injectors to get them cleaned, what kinda problems have you had? if its a hesitation most of that can be solved by regrounding the battery.....

While you have it apart, replace the fuel lines. Only like a 50 centimeters worth under there.
www.injector.com
you can replace all the orings and stuff too.

When you have it apart just replace everything. New fuel lines, all new o-rings and grommets for the injectors, if you have the money get a new pulsation damper. Its worth the money to be safe. Also get the gasket, its only $3.00 from Mazdatrix.com.

IM going to take a few of the hoses cause alot of them where very tough to get off and some look pretty damaged and the stuffs cheap.. the injectors o-ring kit is something that is going to have to be replaced.. I dont want those things blowing anytime soon.. and a few of them are very hard and brittle, i assume just over time they hardend up...
someone asked what my symptons where to clean the injectors, the car is flooding heavely.. so this is a start.. and i just wanted to take the top end off to have a better look at the rot setup.. Ive never worked on one before i bought this one..

Any autoparts store will sell fuel hose. Just make sure you get high pressure hose suitable for fuel injection, not normal fuel hose.

I bought the O-rings on the big cabinet of parts they have. They are called like O-TITE or something. THey are made from BUNA-N so they are just as good as mazda o-rings. The best part is you can get like 10 for $2. Just bring and old o-ring with you to match the size.
Fuel line too can be had at almost any parts store. Make sure you get fuel injection line.
PS: I bought the rebuilt injectors from Nopionline.com. they came with a 1 year warranty and there were $30 each. To have them cleaned would be $25 each so the extra 5 is worth it to get rebuilt and warrantier injectors. Nopi carries both turbo and non turbo and high and low impedance injectors for our cars.

Does any company sell Nice fuel rails. Specially for the rail under the throttle body. For 460cc and 550cc. If not can I remove the PD and attach a fuel regulator to it.

high ones have high resistance and the 88-91 used those.
The main difference is just the amount of resistance the injectors have. Running the wrong ones can burn up your ECU.

I have a 88tii and my injectors are hi impedance (hi resistance). so some S4's do have hi impedance.
