I've just about got everythign i need to put my new engine in I just have a couple Q's

1. What engine mounts would you suggest buying i.e. the hardcore solid ones or replacement oem ones....also hwo many do i need? 2?

2. Where is the cheapest place to buy an Apexi SAFC II...somewhere with a warranty

heres a list of what I got

1. new engine
-jdm block (way hardcore right)
-3mm seals
-moderate port (i dont have any pictures..so hopefully trhe guy really ported it lol)
2. ACT clutch (6puck)
3. ACT flywheel
4. racing beats FCD
5. walbro 255
6. comming engine mounts and SAFC

ported wastegate will get done while engine is out
is there anythign else you guys would recomend (I woudl love to do the zeitronix wideband and all the things that u can hook into it but money is an issure there)

repaint the engine bay while its out or at least really clean it up.
id go solid mounts, is a little vibration gonna kill you, prolly got a straight through exaust anyway youll never notice. and i thinke its 2 mounts per side so 4 total. safc... id just go ebay screw it. if it looks shady dont get it and check the negitive feedback

You need two (a set) get the MMR one from ebay, they are actually pretty damn good, the set comes with diff and tranny mounts also.

You'e got a decent list.....just mintenance items really would help. Like plugs, wires,perhaps cleaning the injectors or getting new ones....fuel filter....

 

yeah the jdm comment was supposed to be funny...I hate sayign JDM cause it sounds liek im trying to be cool....but it is a blockl from a japanese front clip

 

and to clarify....I onyl need 2 individual mounts?
