Hello everyone,

I just purchased a 1988 RX-7. I'm really happy with it, everything runs great except for a minor exhaust problem but I do have a few questions.

First off - my sunroof. Is stuck. I have heard this happens quite frequently with Gen2 RX's. Does anyone know how to fix it / unstick it?

Secondly, I am looking for a wiring diagram for the '88 RX. I Google'd but didn't find anything. I'm trying to install a sound system (it didn't come with one, the original one was stolen.) There is a huge jumble of cables, spliced, capped, it's a mess! So a wiring diagram would be great.

That's all I can think of for now. I'll post some pics for you guys whenever my digital camera decides it wants to work.

if you can hear the sunroof motor running, give it a hand... sometimes the rails grab hold of the sunroof and it needs a little helping hand to get off it's feet, i did this with mine when it was stuck and it hasn't gotten stuck since, you should also lube the rails once you get it open with a white lithium lubricant.
