Any help would be appreciated. My factory oil gauge failed. Reading "0". I grounded the lead and it reads over the top. I guess its the sender. Can you buy replacements? I want to install an aftermarket gauge. how do you hook an electrical gauge (fittings) and do most of you guys leave the factory gauge in operation.

Next little question if you would. My temperature gauge rises to 3/4 if I run the air conditioner. My electric fan(the one in front of the rad) is not operating when I turn it on ( at least it does not operate when its idling) Is it supposed to turn on when the air is on, or just when a predetermined temperature is achieved. It actually goes down when idling and rises when driving on the highway. go figure.

I would also like to install an aftermarket temp gauge, but where do you install the sender?

If anybody could help, it would be great.
