A Few Questions

ok guys here is the questions I have I've searched the forum for a while and just couldnt find an answer that really cleared up what im thinking. I bought an 87 turbo2 a few months ago and the car wouldnt stay running, bad plugs, wires crossed up, and the airintake piping was not completely hooked up, got all that straight and now the car runs, but there is still a problem when you floor it the car just falls flat on it's face, idle drops and the engine wants to die. From what I've been told about the car it's been sitting for a while, and a guy who worked on it told me to check my secondary injectors. Logical answer or no?

#2 if it is the secondaries has anyone used venom injectors? i think there reated at like 10% over stock.
If I use these should I replace all 4 or just the secondary ones. The car is getting 3'' exhaust from the turbo back and im thinking about a walbro fuel pump, the car is going to be purely for messing arround with on the drag strip, so any other suggestions would be great thanks guys.

The secondary injectors come on at 3800rpm. If that's when it falls flat on its face, they could be the problem. But it's unlikely to be the injectors themselves, so replacing them won't help. Check for loose connectors.

Before you add that 3" exhaust, you'll need to pull the turbo and have the wastegate ported, preferably with a bigger flap added so you can port bigger than the stock one. Otherwise you are going to suffer from dangerous boost creep.

You will definitely need the upgraded fuel pump, and you'll need a fuel cut defender to avoid the fuel cut at 8.6psi. Keep it around 10psi on those mods and you'll be fine.

Only if you want your motor to live...

So does this problem occur at 3800rpm?
