NY feul tank question

Today my gas tank sprung a leak on the Brooklyn bridge. Anyway a hose broke but I need to know is the diameter of the hose. If your below the car with your legs sticking out the back looking at the front of the gas tank there is something that looks like a fuel filter. The hose is conected to that thing.

Thanks

You know what I hate those so called mechanics who think they are mechanics. Some stupid ******** thought it was ok to use an air hose fitting to put two fuel lines together for a quick fix. The fitting has thread on one end and a nipple on the other. Who ever did that deserves to be castrated with a dull butter nife.

I changed my gas tank and hoses last year. There is a fuel pump return hose, supply hose and hose to the check valve on top the tank. It;s 5/16 fuel injection hose. If you get new 5/16 inch hose with a blue liner make you use screw clamps and not the original clamps. Fuel can seep out because it does not always seal good.
