Talking Fender differences HELP!!

Hello there, I don't know if it's because I've stared at too many pics of the FC or what but it seems like there are some with minimal fender flares and some with more. I've been looking at them too to purchase and my eyes might be deceiving me but the last one, a 20th ae 88 seemed like it had more flare. If you don't know that I mean, I am talking about how each fender has the line 3/4 way up which creates a flare. Can anyone tell me that they are all the same and I am losing it or am I correct. because if that's the case I don't want to buy one with thinner flares. hahaha Yeah it sounds funny to me too but I had to ask. Anthony
