I dont kno much about RX-7's and i jus wanted to kno if it is possible to swap an TT FD3S engine into a convertible FC3S..and also, are there any companies that make a hardtop for the convertible? any help would be appreciated.

 

You can do it, but it requires a bit of money and some fabrication, as the turbos do not clear the hood (I believe, someone correct me if I am wrong). A less difficult swap is to swap in the 13B-RE, the engine from the Mazda Cosmo in japan. It has the same build as a 13B-T, but is TT. I have no idea about the hard top, but in all my time here I have never seen a picture of one, so I doubt they exist.

one of the members is doing the swap. He went to a single to4e and stand alone ECU. I don't know who made the cradle to bolt in the motor.
