FD Wheels on FC

I bought a set of 4 wheels from a 93 fd with almost brand new tires for $200. But cant get it to fit. at least the front.

I got this↓↓↓ from the FAQ and i cant find any thread about this either i searched !!

Will 3rd Gen RX-7 (FD) wheels fit on my 2nd Gen RX-7?
If you have 5 lug hubs and use spacers. Typically you need spacers around 25mm (1"), depending on tires

I installed them but they touch the strut and the spring (front). the back fits ok even though is pretty close.
i tried some autozone spacers but theres is not enough thread to secure the wheel to the hub. even if i use spacers i cant use them. do i have to change the studs and put longer ones there? tires are 225/55/16

They make spacers that bolt to your car that have more studs on them. So everything is bolted down instead of sandwiched. Look into that. I'll try to get a link here soon
