FD tps REWIRE FOR FC T2?
Hey im trying to rewire my fd tps on my fc and my safc neo wasnt getting a throttle signal when i had the wires hooked up like this...
s4 tps------------------FD TPS
brwn/white------brwn/white<------+5v
green/red--------green/red<-----narrow range signal
black------------brown/black<-----ground
I did not hook up the full range green/black wire up
I touched the signal wire to the +5v wire and it give me a throttle signal, but its wot all the time according to my afc neo..
any help would be awsome!
thks jason....

You need to
1) make sure the FD TPS is calibrated correctly for the voltages you need, and verify those voltages in the AFC.
2) decide whether you want the AFC to read the full range voltage even though the ECU is designed for only the narrow range. This would mostly be so you can make more precise adjustments in the AFC if you need to. I would do it personally, but don't hook the full range wire into the ECU.
3) configure the AFC properly for the TPS
First Go to etc --> sensor check.

What is the tps voltage reading with the throttle closed? with the throttle open? Properly calibrated, on the narrow-range it should be set to about 1 volt closed and 4.5-4.8 volts WOT. Full range would be lower than that, maybe .7 volts closed and 4.2 - 4.5 volts full open.
If necessary, adjust the TPS so that the voltages are in spec. It is not uncommon for the screws to strip out. Consider replacing them with allen bolts.

Now, you need to make sure the AFC is calibrated to the sensor.
I think those settings are mostly for cars which have more than one airflow sensor like Nissan RB and VG engines. I would think you should set everything to 1. I'm not positive on that though, I have only used the SAFC 1 and SAFC 2 which don't have that exact setting.
