sidemount = gay

a stock DSM intercooler would probably be the best for this project if you had to try, but there isn't nearly enough room and you'd have to cut/hack things horribly.

an FMIC would be easier!

Why? It's an inferior position...

If anything, do a V-mount setup, it'll cost about as much, if not less.
