supposedly fd seats mount the same way as fc??? just curious bc i found a good deal on a pair of bride mo type brackets for an fd3s and have some seats i need to mount in my FC. just wondering if anyone can give me a definite answer on this question, ive tried looking for pics of seats and the mounts and what not but nothing..

sorry, i was doing all the searching when rx7club was down and thats when i couldn't find anything, i totally forgot to search rx7club now that its working instead of going straight to posting this. especially with all the stupid things people are posting on here now.

 

My friend has them in his t2. Said it was pretty simple but not entirely sure how he did it.

Side note: for some reason, there seems to be more headroom with the FC seats. When I sat in his car my head hit the ceiling.

I swapped a set of JDM R1 seats, all you need is custom brackets. I made mine pretty quick, just overlayed the outline of the stock mounting locations with the new seats mounting locations, then used that as a template for the brackets, took about 3-4 hours.

 

im in the process of putting custom seats in my t2 as well. got 2 near mint seats out of a later model toyota celica gts. just need to make custom brackets now but they fit beautifully and are slightly wider and taller and look like some sparco torino seats. they are black with hints of grey which match my interior perfectly. i can show ya a pic of the seats...im telling ya the seats are awsome.
