will they fit easly?? or will i need to take the bracket of my fc seats. it is a 88 se

its been done and if i remember right its just a matter of slightly modifying the fd brackets but dont quote me on that. do some searching cause i know its been covered before.

 

i just modified my FC brackets with some thick metal plates

 

I've read that the FD seats mounted that way actually give less headroom than stock, is that true?

about the less headroom comment:
i'd highly doubt it, in fact if mounted right id actually expect about a 1" gain since its a deeper bucket. I cant wait to install mine . . .
i'm goign to be modifyling the FD rail to fit the FC, maybe thats the key, i'll go full custom if i have to.

these seats ended up being less than free after selling the rear fd seat a bought with them, w00t for me.
