I try to search this topic but no luck, maybe using wrong keywords. Well, if anyone could answer this for me. Some detail would be appreicated (what hardware do I need? How hard is the set up? and what modification is involved?) Thanks.

 

the biggest thing is that you would have to elongate the holes on the fd manifold. the spacing of the lower manifold studs are different. if you are planning to do this this is your list;

fd upper manifold
fd throttle body
fd elbow
n/a throttle cable

The tps is totally different. not a big deal if you are running aftermarket efi, but if your using the stock setup some other mod will have to be done.

i used a fd throttle cable and the fd tps and it worked fine, also if you don't run a spacer in between the upper and lower manifold you will need to custom make a oil filler neck

 

What are the advantages of using the FD intake? Are they more free-flowing for better HP? How about low-end?
