The FD LIM will not match up to an FC 13B because of the angle the runners enter the engine (perpendicular on FC, angled on FD). With a bit of work you can mate the FD UIM to the S5 LIM, but the S4 LIM doesn't work as well. Then you have the problem of incompatible TPS's and no OMP linkage.

Is this for your GLX? If so, the manifold you've got will most likely work better than the FD's, because it's designed specifically to work on a NA engine, while the FD's is not. The FD manifold also points the wrong way. Even if there was an improvement just from being bigger, I doubt it would be enough to justify all the work.

The bolt pattern is close, but you'll still need to "slot" two holes.&nbsp To port match the runners, the two inner primaries end up being knife-edge thin - you need to reinforce this section, or you'll end up with intake leaks or cracking the manifold!

You'll need to sort out the electrical, since the TPS is totally different - not too hard for hardcore electrical folks.&nbsp Like previously stated, a Zenki mechnical linkage needs to be rigged, unless you're totally removing the OMP.&nbsp Air temp sensor needs to be moved over - the FD air temp sensor is a totally different characteristic, and it doesn't plug in to the stock wiring.

The oil filler neck is a royal pain in the ***.&nbsp We needed to hijack an FD lower flange and cut&weld the FC upper portion to make it all work.

You'll need an FD throttle cable to snake back to the gas pedal.

If you want to spend money, there are better ways to spend the money than going through such a procedure.&nbsp To me, it's an eye-candy mod which does minimal performance gains - I'd rather ExtrudeHone the stock intake!

To me, it's a waste of time...
