Electrically they are the same, so they do function the same.

FD TPS is not the same. The FD TPS is like a GM, Toyota, Mitsubishi type TPS. its that style. It bolts to the throttle body and rides directly off the throttle shaft. The wiring may still run an S5, but its not the same...

Cool though that you discovered it works on the S5 harness....

Stop being such an ***. Everybody knows it's a differerent type of TPS, and we all knew it before you came along. However if you wire it up correctly it will send exactly the same info to the ECU, which is all that matters.

Throttle Position Interfaces

Series 4 & 5 TPS'
-Orange - (+5V)
-Green/Red - Signal
-Black/Red - Ground

When looking directly at the FD TPS (when the push tab release Is up), there are 4 pins.

1 - Ground
2 - N/C
3 - (+5V)
4 - Signal

Same to the FD TPS applies to the 20B TPS.

1 - (+5V)
2 - Signal
3 - Ground
4 - Not Used
