I know i ready the 89-91's have more hp's....If you could just fill me in a bit with as little flames as poss. that'd be great..everybody has to learn sometime.

ayayayay, i don't think your searched very well, but i reember a time not so long ago when i too was puzzled with this, the fb or fb3s, or first gen is the 79-85 rx7, the fc, or fc3s, or second gen is 86-88 (series 4) and 89-91 (series 5) the fd, or fd3s is the newer model rex (rx7, just incase) its years are 93-95 i think. there ya go, least flames possible.

It has been covered many times, but...

FC3S Or FC is the Mazda designation for the RX-7 Coupe built between 86 and 91.

FC3C is the for the 'vert for 88-92.

Most people just use FC as a referance to that second generation of Mazda RX-7

The third gen RX-7 is the FD, built between late 91 and just last month.

As far as HP, differences and stuff there are several good sites:

and my personal FC info pages:

Trivia I bet most folks didn't know...
The Kouki 13BT engine runs SMALLER primary intake ports (on the center housing) than the Zenki 13BT engine!

It's confirmed in the FSM's, as the Zenki motor runs 10-degrees more opening timing.

bahhahahaa
