FD exhaust mani on FC
What do you think? Will this manifold fit a FC, and what do you think about it?

Without measurements, who knows? Only those who have tried. That said, the FC lower intake sticks out a lot more then the FD, so keep that in mind. They may have sized the manifold to match.

I know which end the turbo bolts to and which end bolts to the engine, what's the other end for? I'm guessing external wastegate, but does it do much good that far out?

Yes, the other end if for an external wastegate.
The placement of the wastegate is the last thing you're worried about, and it's placed here due to the downpipe position and the wastegate exit position.

i dont see any point in using an FD manifold on an FC. I don't know of any reliable stainless steel manifolds for rotaries, i would only trust cast manifolds on daily driven vehicles.
There are a lot of stainless steel manifolds on the market right now that have crappy crappy welding. SS Autochrome is a crappy one that comes to mind.

I think the last one is an FC manifold... I think it looks nice!
It´s not a daily driven only a "nice summernight racer"
I only drive her about 1500 miles each summer...

The turbo sits pretty high up now, I suggest making some type of heat shielding.

That first post URL is from some European website.
It looks either Norweigan or Swedish - apologies in advance if I'm that far off.
Good luck trying to get in touch with them for their products.
As for the SS one in the other thread...
It's either a one-off custom job or a super expensive Japan shop unit.
Either way, it's going to cost you money - you got $1,000+ to pay for it?
Whatever the case, they are not very easily available in the U.S.
If you want one, find someone local to make one for you.
Prepare to pay some serious cash for one.

And yes I would spend $1000 for a good quality manifold! I´m about to make one
myself but I just bought a TIG welder and just beginning to learn how to weld! Thought I should save some time and buy one in the meantime...
The company how did the OBX copy, offered to make one after my instructions, but than again I´m trying to save some time. Have alot to do with my car this winter!

that manifold is the HKS stainless. My friend has it on his FC, it had to be modded a bit and used with a on center turbine housing. 2nd picture.
