FD alternator on a FC

I tried searching but could find anything on weather or not I can install a FD alternator on my s4 FC. I know the wiring would need some mod, but will it bolt up easy? I need more amps

There's also a nice diagram in the FAQ: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...72#post5131072

1) The wire that used to run to the R terminal of the S4 alternator gets capped off, and a fused constant 12V power wire is run to the new S terminal on the S6 alt.
2) The L terminal wire stays the same.
3) The B-posts can be swapped to match the S4 ring terminal, or a new one can be soldered on.
4) The pulley has to be replaced with a v-belt pulley intended for the S6 alt. An S4/S5 pulley can be milled out to accept the larger shaft, or an aftermarket pulley can be sourced. Correct pulley size is approx 45mm ID.
5) If you get an oversized pulley, the belt size needed will increase.
6) A new bolt & nut will be needed for the tensioner bracket, since the S6 alt does not have threads in this location.
