To open a Yahoo Auction account, you need a bank account. One thing that is also a killer is shipping charge. It is $$$$$ .All transactions are through yours and their bank. You almost NEVER get F*CKED like in the states. Most are honest people and you almost never see bad feedbacks among sellers. They won't do international since there are paper work involved, duty to pay and fluctuating currency rate. On top of that , you cannot open a Yahoo account from overseas . It's a breeze if you're in Japan.

Here is the BN link. I think you may be right. Others can look and voice your opinions. By the way, thanks to the person that started this thread!

To open an account on Yahoo japan you need a japanese bank account. You just need a friend in japan that you trust enough to bid on parts and get them for you. You can pick up used bucket seats for insanely cheap

Yeah they're cheap but try shipping it here. A small 4lb box costs $38.00+ to ship to Japan. It's even more there to here. There is a company called EMS that does somewhat cheaper shipping but it's still expensive. A friend bought Advan wheels there and paid $600 for shipping. Imagine stores 3floors of just wheels or walk into Autobacs (HUGE auto parts chain) and walk out with 3 in. Apexi exhaust, coil overs, s/s manifolds etc.
If they don't have it they'll order it from the warehouse and *deliver* it to your house FREE. When you buy parts in the so-called race shops in the US, it's like they're doing *YOU* a favor! Customer service is the **** in Japan. Americans should learn from them.
How many here gets even "hello" when you walk into a 7-11? There , they bow and welcome you and even says "arigato gozaimashta!" (thankyou). How's that!
