fcon w/ fcd installed... still hit fuel cut?

hmmmm..

it installed the hok pfc fcon with FCD attached and it still hits fuel cut. I dont know why but at 8.5psi or so is hit fuel cut and the engine wont gain rpms anymore. its revs up all the way when im not on it but i cant top our even first without hitting the cut.

i have a 87 tii with mods in my sig. I drove it for the first time today and it is maddness... i love it already!

The FCD on the F-CON's is adjustable.

Adjust it higher.

Pretty sure. Give HKS USA a call and theyll give you the appropriate setting. I cant remember.... but I think they told me "2".

Your injectors could be the problem, flooding the car when they come on. However, a buddie if mine had 680's in his stock ECU T2 with no problems.

How hard does your 'fuel cut' feel? I rode in a car that hit fuel cut, and it was VERY hard. It felt just like a revlimer.

Fuel cut is like hitting a brick wall. Running rich should be a bit more gradual... depends how much fuel you have in there.

i mean i have a walbro, 680cc secondaries and the hks fcon. i think the fcon is doing it. i did hit fuel cut on the way home from the shop.

I installed my fcon and took it around the block and still hit it. felt the same.. like it sputters and wont accel anymore at 8psi. I cant get the fcon to adjust right.. its made for stock injectors so i am selling it now and think ill go with the safc and a FCD.

There seems to be more feedback from the safc on what the car is doing.. with the fcon you have one dial on the inside of the unit to adjust the entire fuel curve. I need to be able to adjust the 680s. It running crazy eye burning rich!

I have the same EXACT problem

I have an HKS F-Con and FCD and have a S4 TII. The
B@#$% still cuts out all the time. I tried settings 1-6-12 and thats all. Someone says something about setting 2 but I have yet to try that. I hit mad fuel cut at about 8.5 lbs. Can someone please help us. I also read that there is a dip switch in the HKS fcd is it possible it is set for a S5 or something? I am almost getting ready to throw the whole HKS F-CON out the window. my car seems to run better without it.

I still hit a weird fuel cut too, my mods are 850cc secondaries, apex avc-r, 2.5" d/p and m/p, TID w/ air filter, Adj. FPR, and no emissions. I was thinking maybe i just need an AFC to control the fuel, but if someone else has a solution please share.....

If any of you guys are unhappy with the HKS F-CON, I'll gladly take it off of your hands.
