FCD question

should i get my car running first before i put my FCD back on....plus theres a bunch of plugs by my throttle body that go to my emissions...i cut them and taped them off to make it look better.... but theres a sensor with two hoses goin to it and its got a plug attached to it. i think it connects to the spider web of lines i need to take of in the futur....so should i just chuck the sensor and plug the hoses? also i finished my TBA . Ill ake pics but its perfrect escept for havin to relocate my oil filler lol. Anyways i got a plate to replace the stock TBA and have a 3" opening welded directly to it with my little sensor fitting slotted. So everything seems to check out ok with FMIC so thanks ill pos6t pics. any other suggestions to gettin this beast started would help....i took out my spark plugs they smelled of gas an **** i cleaned them cranked the motor without them in....did the whole EGI thing and no one still has answered my question about having to butt this yellow connector near my FCD???? please help me with this thanks....
