It's not that bad. I paid I think $250 for all the 5-lug mess (4 piston calipers, hub assemblies, wheels) and I think $50 for the LSD. I installed it myself with no prior experience with that stuff.

Easiest way would be to replace the entire rear subframe at once. The fronts took me like 10 minutes each side to do (swapping the hub assemblies and brakes). Good idea to change out the bushings at the same time, while everything is apart.

I still have the 4 lug setup since the car came with lightweight regamasters and hoosiers mounted on the four lug, I read you can swap calipers and still retain the 4 lug which would be sweet for me.

BTW how quick is your car, I am running stock turbo for now, 3" dual exhaust, throttle body mod with porting on the TB and Intake mani. Boost around 13-14 psi. My car is completely gutted (tar, doors, dash everything) Hoping its around 2300 if im lucky the sparco seats are pretty light too.

Its not a drag car but im thinking low 13's are capable on the stock turbo for now.
do you have a front mount? The stock top mount is a big restriction and the general forum consensus is that running 12psi or more for long periods of time will heatsoak it. My car actually doesnt run yet, its a work in progress. I have everything i need, just have to put it all together once my chassis is entirely ready. It will be fully gutted as well (tar and everything). I only plan to run 8-10 day to day then crank it up to 12 for brief periods. For weight, I doubt you're as low as 2300, the Turbo itself along with the heavier tranny and rearend add some serious weight. I'm guessing mine will be 2500 without a cage, then 2600 with, but thats not until later. As for as the speed, I expect mid to high 13's running 12psi with a clean pass (good shifts, no traction or clutch problems). on 13-14psi probably just a bit lower than that, but then again i dont know ANYTHING about drag racing so dont take my word for it, its just what I've heard/read.

My friend has a heavily gutted base with just about everything you can possibly remove- dash, tar, carpet, bumper protectors. All he has left is the shifter, 2 seats, the dash and the cluster and he weighs in at 23xx.
