Not sure why you think you need a stage whatever clutch. I have a stock replacement in my t2 making 323hp and it holds just fine. Here is the correct turbo part that is only 210 bucks from atkins. I also have this same clutch (except for S5 N/A) and it's great. Nice pedal feel and grabs good.

Have about 7k on the clutch (when motor was installed). I don't race it but it gets run through peak power alot. I was dding it while the s5 was down and its a very nice clutch even in traffic

well then also keep in mind that puck clutches only last about 15k-25k miles on street driven cars. be ready to be wearing those transmission bolts out R+Ring your tranny every other year.

I can't say how long the pucked clutch would last, but the pressure plate & flywheel will see more abuse, thus going out faster.

ya i have been trying to keep up with the flywheel, everytime i have it down, i check it out with a brake rotor runout tool, and so far its ok, but i will continue the measurements.
im gonna do the required 500mile break-in. and then return to my usual business lol

500 mile breakin? sheesh. trying to get the warranty to expire so they won't have to warranty it? with ACT you can drive it like you stole it right out of the box with no issues.

''For organic street discs “00 and SS” we recommend breaking in the clutch for 200-300 miles with mild engagement such as stop and go city driving prior to racing or spirited driving. ACT race discs usually only require a few hard slips to lap in the surfaces prior to normal driving or racing. Do not overheat the clutch during the break in period''

even the SS organics really require little to no break in. puck clutches shouldn't require more than a few takeoffs.

i've also heard some people say you have to put 3k miles on a rotary engine to break it in. if someone sais that then you should avoid them like the plague.

if your stock clutch is dying that fast your driving skills needs some improvement. these cars are so easy to take off in. it's sad when you race another seven (fc/fd) and they are spinning tires off the line thinking they need to dump the clutch.
