Hi guys,

I've done some searches and come up with nothing, but that could be my searching technique.

Basically I have just imported a Japanese spec series 5 RX7 convertable and am having some major problems getting it started.

When I start the car it runs for like 5 seconds then cuts out. I'm not sure if its fuel and spart or just fuel (I will check that when I get home).

I believe these cars have the ability to give you an ECU error code, via the check engine light. But I havent seen anything!!! The check engine light has not even come on!

2 more possible causes are the alarm (which I am pretty sure is ok, as it starts and seems to function correctly) and I believe an AVCR boost controller was stolen from the ship this couldnt cause the engine to stop if it was badly removed could it?
