FC wings and spoilers...

I have an 88 GTU and I don't like the wing on it. Makes it look like a Dodge Avenger or something...

Anyway, I'm looking for spoiler and wing options for my GTU. Anyone have pics or suggestions?

Stock wing is about the most low key you can get, if you don't like that you probably aren't going to enjoy anything else out there.

Sport and GTU as far as I know. I think the TI Ispoiler is the GTU one.

There are the 3 but the later two are for the most part, nearly the same.

I dunno I dont like the whole "touching the body thing" too camaro-ish for my liking. The corksport one doesnt even sit that high off the body anyhow. Just enough for my liking.

Any wing with legs like those sure as hell better be functional. I wouldn't put it on my Sport or any street car. Track car only. That raised wign **** for the street look rediculous.

Oh lord, here we go with the functional wing arguement again.
Just about anything you put in the back of a car that has a decent surface area and has an angle of attack can and will provide downforce. Stick your hand out the window of the car at 65. now angle your hand. What happened? Exactly.
And furthur more there is nothing wrong with changing the way a car looks to a degree. Yet you can go to far. Yet I dont feel that wing is that bad. Its not a big goofy metal wing. And it doesnt cost 500 dollars. You cant argue with that. Especially when your stock wing is broke like mine.

So where does a street car that sees track time fall in?

I separate the two. That is the point. i don't plan to take my Sport onto the track at all. I will have a TII in the future for that. And I still will not have a aftermarket wing on it. The GTU wing does its job and provides down force and doesn't hurt too much with added drag.

Well, then that kinda proves what I was gettin around too. Some thing arent for everyone. Either you like it or you dont. You dont like it, I do. No big deal. just differance of opinions. But I dont seperate the two my street car sees track time. I dont have the money for two of these lil beasties.
