FC Troubles

K so I have narrowed down where my gas leak is. It is in the line that goes from the fuel filter to the fuel rail. Only problem is that I cannot see where the leak is. Is thtat a straight line that runs under the manifold? DOes it attach to anything else back there? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated so I can get it replaced and finally get my car back on the road.

here's what you do:

get a good view of where you think the leak is coming from (but keep all hot lights away).

Find the yellow single jumper wire near the passenger's side strut tower (under hood). Jump that wire (connect it to itself).

Look at the leak area and have an assistant turn the key to "on." This will manually set the fuel pump in motion to prime the system. If there is a leak, you will see LOTS of gas shoot out of it.

viola! you have found your leak .

gee thanks but I know all about the the priming system and I cannot see behind the damn manifold. thanks for the input scott, you pretty much answered my question, will it hurt anything to bypass this line and run my own fromt the filter directly to the fuel rail??
