FC stock/uprated replacment fuel pump limits?

Hi

Can anyone tell me the bhp limits of the stock fuel pump and a direct replacement fuel pump for an FC Turbo2 please?

Reason I ask is my car came over from Japan with no mention of what fuel pump its running, and want to know when im likely to need to upgrade, as I want more power.

Its got a ported engine running a HKS T04E on a tubular manifold, HKS managment, etc etc, estimated 350bhp, so I presume it will be an uprated pump at that level?

What sort of power will that be ok until?

I have an Aeromotive A1000 and a big swirlpot here I can install, but it will lose me what little room I currently have for taking spare wheels/tyres with me when driving to the track, so dont want to put them in until ive maxed out the current pump.

If someone can give me some rough numbers on the limits thatd be great

Merry xmas

Fuel pressure will determine exactly what the limit is, but on a modified stock-turbo car the stock fuel pump will take a dive around 250 brake HP. Your car has to have an aftermarket pump, so pull it out and take a look.

Do the direct replacement aftermarket pumps vary much in the power they good for?

It could be any number of pumps, so the only way you're going to know is by taking it out. There is a huge flow range among pumps that will fit.
