FC Stock Rotor Capabilities

I was searching through the site, and didn't seem to find any solid information regarding this question. At what point are you reaching the edge of the hp capabilities of a stock motor in a 8.5:1 FC rotor? Also is there a limitation on how much boost the rotor can take before running into issues. I understand that certain supporting modifications are required beyond stock, "FP, injectors, AF controll, FMIC ect...". I'm asking because I may be picking up a 88 FC TII in the very near future, and wanted to do some homework before hand. Thanks for the help.

they can support over 500rwhp. i will take a lot of work to get it there though. im not sure how much boost you can run. the highest i have ever heard of was a 12a turbo engine. that guy has about 700rwhp @ 32 psi. when you are running large amount of boost though, your car better be tuned perfect or it will blow up.
