Cool FC rollin on 20's?? What do you think?

Ok i need your guy's opinion on this one. I have a nice set of 16 inch five stars right now. But i wanna get something BIG and chrome for car shows and just chillin.
Question number 1: Would 20's fit with 30mm widebody kit added to the front and rear fenders?

Question number 2: How would they look?

Question number 3: Would they fit with an Eibach Pro Kit?

They would look retarded. 18 is the largest you should go on FCs IMO.

Well that is because 18s are the biggest that fit right and look ok. If you want bigger go buy a truck and throw 20s on it - its not gonna look right on an FC or people would have them!

I have 18's on my FC. And I concur with everyone, you wouldn't want to go much bigger. Perhaps you could go with 19's in the rear, and 18's in the front. But chrome 20's on a sports car, not to mention the wonderful RX7?

Someone point this young fellow to the honda forums, he should feel right at home there.

even with like 20 series tires your going to be riding like a monster truck. plus i dont know where you live, but around me, youd have 4 nice pieces of slag after your first ride.

not to mention the shitty gas mileage you would get with 20's, and all the extra rotating weight of the wheels will bring down ur available horsepower. and the body will sit like 8" higher.

youd have to dump it on its *** to make it look even remotley right, and suffer rooted driveability and handling. You know what that equates to
modification = loss of performance = RICE
go 18s and be happy with it

You won't be able to move the car very well because of the gigantic rims. They will look retarded like all 20's do and they likely won't fit.

20's might be stretching it. my friend just put some really nice racing hart C2's in 19" on his 240sx and we had to cut his lowering springs about 2 more inches than they already lowered the car to get them to start tucking in the fenders.

18's at biggest man. I plan on getting 18's but I would never think of going for even 19's let alone 20's. Thats way to big. 20's are for vehicules like Cadilac Escalade's etc. Not for a small sports car.

Ok, here are pics of my friends 240 on 19's. The first one is before we cut an extra 2 inches off of the eibach sportlines (2.1"-1.9" drop). The second pic is a couple days later when we installed the sylvia front end and cut the springs. I know this is a 240, but everybody told him they wouldn't fit and that'd they would rub, but they still don't rub even after we cut the springs. So you be the judge. Go to the tire store and ask to try on some 20's to see if they fit. If they do, then deicide if you like the bling bling and the $3000 hit in wallet.

Just thought I'd add another pic to help you decide. Here is a front shot of my TII which is stock ride height with stock wheels and tires next to his 240 with the 4inch drop. You can see they are pretty even.

very nice silvia front. beginning to see them here in the bay area.

I feel initial D must have sparked this interest in making sil-40's. I say sil-40 b/c US spec is 240 and not 180sx.

not to hijack the thread, but you can see in the first pic i posted the hood is buckled from an accident. the sylvia front was cheaper than getting it fixed at a body shop and replaced everything that was damaged. it also looks damn good IMO.

20s are too small on Tahoes an Escalades.
Those 19s look stupid ( bad stupid..errr. they look ****** retarded!!) The biggest i would have gone on my S14 would be 19s, but they look alot better.

18s are perfect for FCs.
19s are huge even on FDs
17s and 18s look good on 240s
Sil-80s look dumb (FB 240sx's are the 180sx body style, when you mate a JDM front to a part of another Japanese car ou might as well use its JDM name too)
Silvia fronts on Coupes look tasty
180sx's are wikked!!!
FCs own ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
