I said nothing about being replicas...I said KNOCK-OFFS...as in rims like the old corvettes had, where there was only one large spinner in the center instead of the lug nuts.....otherwise, what in the hell would TRUE knock-offs be--real fakes???

 

Technically, they're not knock-off's. They're center-drive. Knock-off's typically have the little three sided spinner in the middle (like the center-drives) that you would hit with a soft lead hammer, hence the term "knock-off".

That being said, I like the car. It looks a little "period", but these cars were made in the late 80's.

They're genuine Modena rims. You know Modena right? They make wheels for Ferrari F40 and other supercars as well.

i dont blame ya, that kit is nice too, but i assume the RE kit has more function to it, afterall ,RE is the rotary guru if im not mistaken, im sure he knows what hes doing, just my .02

Guys, saying "RE" is just like saying rotary here. Most of the rotary shops in Japan have "RE" in their name. Its the Amemiya that stands apart from the others


Anyways, decent kit I supposed. I like the spoiler. Hate the rims and the bolted on lexan covers.

First of all the original poster is wrong that front kit is the R-MAGIC kit i have it but i didn't put the front on because it is ugly.The side skirts on both cars are just 89-91 s5 skirts and both wings are RE-A's, have a great day, o and the new RE-A front is 200% better looking.

 

the long pieces of lexan make the car look sad... it should be a happy car, since its an FC, with popups. Popups are so happy

and i ******* love the FC kit. its a great looking kit from everything from the headlights to the wing. its a great looking kit.

Some guy posts a couple pics of an FC with an "RE Kit".
Everybody drools over it. Says what great kits RE makes. OMG RE > GOD!
Then they come to find out that the only thing RE on the car is the wing...

Sounds like a lot of people are just after the name...

 

I could care less who makes it. I want the front bumper and headlight kit.
