Ok guys. So i finally got my project fc rolling. Its been a long time but hey, at least its driving now

But there are a few things that i need to know about, because I'm not real familiar with the little quirks of FC's.

Ok, so when i drive it, after it warms up, it makes this annoying dinging sound.

The temp is fine but the oil pressure is a little low. What is this warning horn telling me?

Also, when i start it up from cold i have to plug in what i would assume is the tps sensor, but once its warm i have to unplug it, other wise it stalls out.

Just to let you know what i have done to the car: I took a automatic gxl and swaped out the entire drive line with T2 stuff and a Jspec T2 diff. I also changed it to a manual tranny with a O.S. Giken twin plate clutch, and a Mazdatrix short shifter.

So, with that said, any help would be great.

Thanks,
jeff

Okay, granted yes, he didnt have the greatest grammar. But you don't get paid to nitpick now do you?

That means youre just TRYING to be an ***. If you didnt want to try and read it, click "back" and go on with your life. The guy is asking for help. At least TRY and help him if youre going to post here.

Most of the mazda gauges arent that great...Including the Temp gauge. It goes from "low" to "normal" and when it finally gives you the idiot buzzer, youve just fried your motor.

I dont know anything about the TPS, at least not yet, I dont have any issues with mine.

Other than what you mentioned, I would say just make sure all your wiring is good (grounds are very important) And to make sure that you check the oil level very often. Hope that helps a little bit at least.

Dinging comes from the power steering computer I hear. The TPS should be adjusted with a screw, just read the entire faq thread, it should have links to helpo you with your problems.

I don't get paid to do this at all, which is why I don't waste time trying to interpret badly typed posts.

I stopped reading half way through. Anyone who's been here a while (i.e. not you) knows I like to help people, but why should I bother if someone can't be bothered asking their questions clearly and legibly. What's so damn hard about using frickin' full stops and hitting the return key occasionally?

He doesn't know you very well.

I guess the problem with using full stops and hitting the enter/return key occasionally is that someones 3RD GRADE teacher forgot to teach them that? Or maybe they've never written a paper for school (do they go?).

There's a reason we (beings capable of decent communication) use punctuation. Do you know why? IT MAKES LIFE EASIER!

ok first and foremost. i didn't know i was writing a damn term paper here. i don't use punctuation cause well i really don't care weather or not my grammer is perfect. i understand the fact that it might have been i little hard to read and if you do not wish to help me then fine just don't bother and leave it the hell alone. ok now that i got the BS out of the way, the situation i am trying to figure out is what is the dinging in my car. also why do i have to unplug something for my car to start. simple as that.

yes ill look at FAQ i have not done so yet.
there is everyone freakin happy now.

Well I really don't care whether or not your car runs perfect, but I don't mind putting in a little effort to help you out if your questions are legible. How about you show the same courtesy and put a little more effort in when asking people to help you.

No problem at all, considered yourself ignored. But you might want to remember that this argument comes up quite often, and based on the responses in other threads it seems to me that the people who are most likely to be able to help with problems like this are also the people most likely to not even bother trying to read such poor (or lazy) writing. So the only person losing here is you. Like I said, is it really that hard to use full stops and paragraphs?

That's what we're (or at least the smart people) trying to do. It's hard to help someone when you can't even understand what the problem is. I wish people would figure that out.

If you want help, make it as easy as possible to help you.

Use at least good (note I said good, not perfect) grammar/punctuation.
Give as much information as possible (year, TII or N/A, any and all problems... etc.).
Say what you've already done to try to fix the problem.

And so on.
