FC Question
Alright, I'm looking into buy this fc.
It is white and looks like a TII wannabe.
Is there anyways to tell whether it has a tII tranny.
Also how do you tell if it has a LSD?
Any markings on the differential?
Also all rx-7 came with 4 piston brakes?
The guy selling it is a total deush, and not budging on the price, but you can sense he wants to flip the car fast, but since he knows I am interested, he is not willing to budge on the price.
Also, when compression tested, how much PSI should there be?
thanks

might be 10thAE. Are the tail light covers white or black? turbos have 4 piston calipers in front. read the faq at the top of the page and search... you should be able to find the answers to your other questions. I'm sure someone else can answer the other questions here though.

I saw a N/A rx7 86-92 with the same 4 piston brakes, so they aren't that rare.
How would you tell that the car has tII components.
I mean its easy for me to say that my car has TII parts, but how can you tell?

The bottom of the T2 and N/A transmissions look very different. The T2 tranny is much bigger.
If it is a T2 tranny then it will be a T2 driveshaft and diff, UNLESS the driveshaft is custom made. A custom drive shaft would allow a T2 transmission to bolt up to a N/A diff.
