here is a different kit.....all it does is allow you to pull the headlight motor fuse out and go. honestly i like this better than the expensive conversions.

Still, you would have the weight of the motors, no? Guys, if you can dedicate two weekends to it, you can learn to lay fiberglass one weekend, and then custom fit any number of other makes of headlight assemblies into your car. I will be posting pics of my conversion as it progesses. I am not telling what assemblies I found to fit though!

i don't think so. a $1200+ bumper vs. a $300-$400 headlight kit.

No 3 rotor in there anymore. Bad experience with the motor eating itself in just 100 miles after a Southern engine builder got his hands on it. Biggest waste of money thus far.

Either way, I still like the lights.

looks like CP Racing to me. See my warning above though. I would never pay CP Racing up front (after teh horror stories on here over the last couple of years.)

if I were going to do away with the flip ups, that's about how I'd do it. Very sleek, aerodynamic, and still wonderfully functional.

Nope. I've seen the cp racing ones, they are longer, take much more from the front bumper and they look like crap comparing to these.

EDIT: no, it seems that you're right. It is NOT CP racing. here is a car for comparison:

You can see from the last three pics that the bumper was cut/modified for those headlights. You can see exactly where the FTP's would go from the inner outlline.

yup. that's speedmachine's car. I don't know how much they go for anymore. I don't think CP Racing is in business anymore.
