Truely incredible to see pure power captured in a still frame. Very impressive.

That by far is the best picture I have seen of a rotary related topic.

That is really neat, my girlfriend really liked it also! A video would be great also. Were the flames pulsing or were they solid?

Well I guess that would test under no load, but what about the "spinning water jugs" the engine dyno's use to provide load for proper "under stress" testing?

Yeah, I actually saw this contraption last night when I went by Kevin's shop...it is for real!
I am just surprised that nobody else thought of this. It even has the OEM guage cluster, although I don't think it is shown in the pictures.

What you need to do is get some hi-res pics of a fresh, clean rebuild runing at 5K.

Pretty engine + pretty blue flames = unF

OK all you NA guys - see why you want a header instead of the iron box collector?

My engine builder has been doing this for years with every engine he rebuilds. He uses a carb and distributor with some basic guages and runs them atleast 4 hours before shipping them off to the customer. Theres nothing quit like a 12A pulling 9,000RPM for numerous minutes on the test stand. Blue flames coming out the header about a foot long.

Hmm. Quick question while we're on the topic of exhaust; what is the purpose of those diffusers? To diffuse, yeah, right, but why?
