fc lighting problems

fc lighting problems
my taillights and instrument cluster light went out.. check the fuses they look fine.. when i was driving i just put my new tranny in. i started smelling something burning.. then the instrument cluster light went out.. then next my tailights went out.. the tailights work when i press my brakes but when im driving with the lights on the tailights r out.. what could be the problem?

The light switch connections may have burnt out. Check the back of the light switch.
My dash lights don't work
Did you check the dimmer control??? If you did and they still don't work the light switch connections may have burnt out. Check the back of the light switch.
