Fc + Fd = Possible?

hey i love my fc to death and ill never get rid of her... i like the body style better and the FD, but i like the FD interiour allot... is there ne way i can make the FD interiour fit in an FC? Dash and door panels... is there a lil or allota modification involed? or would i be getting myself into something i cant handle....

There would be so much fabrication it would almost be a new interior. Just buy a FD.

That would be tuff, but you can pull it off with a lot of cash and a lot of custom fabrication. Give it a shot dude. $$$$$$$

ya think? Figured it would cost some dough with fitting and molding. Let alone the cost of a good FD interior.

Actually I recall a thread in the interior/exterior/audio section where someone posed this question.

I *believe* that someone responded who had a dash out of an FD and tried to fit it in the FC for kicks (just dropped it in the car) but to his dismay found that the shap/size of the dash is NOWHERE near the proper dimensions, therefore the door panels/fit around the windshield etc. would have HUGE distasteful gaps, and some sections would need to be cut in order to minimize those gaps.

so bascially.......it'll never happen.

Now feel free to correct me on that, Im going by my memory of that thread as I couldn't turn it up in a search (i think it came about during a thread jack)
