Old setup.

New setup (unfinished) and still under construction. Intake pipe was wrapped in header wrap recently since it travels above the radiator hose, and the standalone is still being worked on.

And in case you're wondering, yes parts of the SS fuel lines have been covered in black electrical tape. I didn't want the metal lines rubbing against anything else metal, so I wrapped certain parts to protect them.

Hmm, comcast must be having issues right now or something, they'll be back eventually.

EDIT: Should be working now.

Is that long metal piece custom or stock from something.

Look where the stock FD intake elbow ends, middle of e-fan area.

It was either use an extreme bend to take it back to the drivers side, and still try to avoid hitting the e-fan (quite hard), or run it back to the passenger side. I chose the passenger side, obviously

Whenever I get around to getting the greddy FD elbow I might change it to drivers side, there's plenty of room.

Don't really like that idea, doesn't seem like the best surface to clamp onto, seems like it could slip off easily (happened in the "old setup" pice for the n/a elbow), plus it gets rather large and I'd most likely have to use one of those stupid 3" plumbing couplers that never fit 3" pipe very well.

Ah, I'm not too familar with FD's. I'm curious if you saw some more power with this setup.

I think I would personally locate it on the driver's side with your setup though. Keep it away from that radiator hose, clean up the engine compartment a bit, and the air would have a much more direct route. That's just my 2 cents though.

I've seen it done on a boosted car with no problems.
