Hey Guys,
I don't know who is like the RX-7 guru but I need some contacts or hook-ups bad. I bought a 1989 RX-7 off my buddy for $600 cdn. Its in mint conditon but the only thing is its got no enigne. If anyone could give me links to places that sell engines or an email address that would be greatly appreciated.

do you know if it's a turbo or not? does it have stickers on the side of the car? "turbo II, GXL, GX" etc. big hood scoop?

if you give us the VIN number someone can figure it out.

Got no engine? As in nothing in the engine bay, ior the engine is just gone?
You may be starting a little hard if it is gone. It will be tough for you to know what was taken out with the old engine, and what was left.
You could find a car with a blown engine for the same price. You may just be starting with a headache.
Your car may be a better candidate for one of the guys who like the V8 swap idea.

As a matter of fact, a 2nd gen 13B is the ONLY engine that will drop into that car without modifying things

How much money do you have to spend on a motor? A mazda reman is about 2G's +500 core charge, and people sell used motors for about 5-600 pretty frequently. Check the For Sale section of the forum.

Both the sereis IV (86-88) and series V (89-92) engines can be found at www.revolutionrotary.com among other places. They offer minor ported engine as well I believe.

They also sell them on ebay.
