FC convertible
The freeplay in my clutch doubled. Gear oil leaked out of my rear oil seal. I was wondering If my low gear oil or my leaking rear seal is causing my clutch to be very easy to push in.

Um..... better title next time?
I'm pretty sure that your clutch fluid is hydrolic (sp? damn I hate that) brake fluid, that's what I put in mine anyway DOT-3, which does not run through the engine thus not into the rear seal. Also, was it gear oil leaking out of your tranny or oil leaking from the rear main seal on your engine?
Point is, Gear oil in your tranny, whatever oil in your engine, DOT-3 or better I think in your hydrolics. Figure out if it's your hydrolics leaking, it's in a little semi-clear box near your drivers side corner of the engine bay.
Someone tell me if I'm talking out my a$$.
EDIT: point is, 3 different fluids, three different systems.
