Ok I just bought a car cover today to cover my 10AE,

The box said to get a small size,
Well I got the meduim and it seemed like it was to small,
So I took it back and got a large,It seems like its still to small,I dont like the way it doent completley cover the bottom of the front,

Either I got the wrong impression of how much its suppose to cover or I just need to buy a fitted one,

The brand that im using is from Rally,Yeah its a cheap one,$45. at K mart,

Tommorw im thinking to try the XL size or can you guys tell me where to get fitted ones,Or what brand / size you use?

Any pics please... I need to see a covered second gen..

 

i bought my vert with an included mazda cover( the cover is blue) my cars an 89 and it fits like youd want a condom to fit!! when i went to the dealer the other day i saw their little area to try and sell car covers......they are still selling the same covers that the previous owner of my car bought in 89...so it must be good!!

ps i did buy one of the 20 dollar car covers for my z before i bought the 7...basically there is no comparing the difference in an unfitted cover. its like using a glad bag instead of a condom!! its a funny anology but at the same time its really true!! cuz like you said it doesnt cover the lower half of your car.

 

i dont have a pic but it goes down below the center caps on my bbs wheels and has a clear spot so the cops can see your license plate..in the back..

 

Did you say Mazda still sell them?
Is there any way you can get pics,and I have to be able to lock it down with a cable.That has to be a must.

I just bought an original car cover from mazda off of ebay for $79 never used, brand new.

I think that the guy is selling more just do a search on car covers on ebay motors.

 

See my location,I dont think any one else here had sense to cut the cable if they wanted it,I just put it on so your normal crackhead cant walk by and steal it..

I got mine from there, fits like a glove, they sell different types of fabric depending on your needs and budget, I think mine was like $120 or maybe more, but I have had it 6 years, and the car sits outside, under the snow, and when you take the cover off it looks like the day you put it on.

 

Only ever buy fitted car covers. If its in the wing the excess material can flap against the car and ruin the paint. Plus they dont fit worth ****.

Now that I think of it, ive seen one of those covers on the Miata. It did fit nicely.

I found a guy on Ebay..Im not sure if its the same guy ..BUT I e mailed him he contacted me back ..I told him I didnt have time to bid and want to just buy one ..He gave me a price of $80. not bad and guess where its coming from and who responded on my e mail
