i think he's talking about FC backseats. I saw some in a junkyard/scrap FC. I was going to get them and sell but I'll take a picture of them before i take them out.

Never seen a FD with a back seat? Was that a options in the US?

 

haha the back seats in the FC's are freakin useless. i have one. I made 2 girls sit back there for 9 hours straight!! hahahaha suckers.... damn am i lucky the i own the car and they can't make me sit backt here!

 

Not in the US. But came in most Japanese FD's.

Just curious though....if bins are removed is it possible to put FC back seats in there? How much altering do you think would have to be done if any?

I am actually looking for a set to match the rest of my gray S4 interior in my T2. Most people laugh, but hey, the child seat and 20mo old daughter won't know the diff

 

No altering at all. Take out the bins and the fiberglass shell and the seats bolt right in. The bolt holes might have a rubber cap. Just remove the caps and bolt right in. piece of cake.

I actually bought my rear seats when my first son was born 5 years ago for 300 bucks. It was either that or get rid of the FC and get a "family" car. 2 kids later and I still consider the rear seats as the best "car saving" investment I've made.
I recently took the bins out of my parts car and am going to remove the rear seats but I won't be selling them any time soon. They're good to keep in storage just incase...
